Manzaa - Moggina Jade for kids

Moggina Jade (Poola Jade) is a traditional hairstyle for girls during festivals and special

occasions at family. This hairstyle suits for any traditional attire ( Lehenga Choli, Sarees,

Salwar)

Items Required

1) Hairpins ( U Pin and Straight Pins)

2) Pleated Hair ( Available in the market / Pleated at home)

3) Flowers ( Any flower of your choice)

4) Comb

Dress up kid with traditional attire ( As it is difficult to wear the dress once the Hair and

Flowers are fixed)

Comb the hair and make a partition (Center or Side) as required.

From the centre down towards the ear make the partition on both sides. Tie the remaining

hair by making a ponytail and late make a bun out of ponytail.

Hair ornaments like Tikka or Sun and Moon Sign can be placed.

I have placed Maharastrian nose pins both sides as it is

light weight and easy to place on the hair.

Place the Pleated hair so that the bun is not

visible. Fix the pleated hair using hair pins.

Secure it tightly as it may loosen up after

placing the flowers.

Cover the pleated hair with flowers in U

Shape or round shape whichever way you

like.

Adore your kid with accessories like bangles and necklace which suits the dress.
